The Zerohedge headline says it all:
Democrats In Turmoil: DNC Chair Wasserman Schultz Resigns After Wikileaks Revelations
On the eve of the Democratic convention in Philadelphia, party chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned after Wikileaks released thousands of emails from Democratic leaders showing fraud throughout the nomination process.
Because of that fraud, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders little chance to compete against presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton.
According to Zerohedge:
Wasserman Schultz had became toxic to supporters of Bernie Sanders, who accused her rigging the Democratic presidential nominating process in favor of Clinton. But many Democrats had privately lost confidence in her leadership as well. Emails posted online by Wikileaks and apparently stolen by hackers allegedly working for the Russian government (who as we noted earlier thoroughly denied such allegations) showed a plot by Democratic officials to damage Sanders.
The furor was a blow to a party keen on projecting stability in contrast to the volatility of the Republican National Convention. According to some, the DNC is now on pace to be far more scandalous than anything the republicans could have come up with, while the number of Bernie Sanders protesters overshadows the protesters that had attended the RNC in Celveland .
And in a shocking ‘beyond caring what the average joe thinks’ move, Hillary Clinton announced that Debbie Wasserman Schultz will serve as an honorary chair on Clinton’s campaign, almost as if she is doing her best to provoke Bernie Sanders fans.
Hillary Clinton thanked her “longtime friend” Debbie Wasserman Schultz after the Florida congresswoman’s decision to step down as chair of the Democratic National Committee.
Meanwhile, in Washington, more of those 20,000 emails released showed “close cooperation” between the DNC and the Washington Post, making a mockery of objective journalism and showing how much influence liberal Democrats have with the mainstream media.
Breitbart’s headline on this story reads:
Washington Post’s Juliet Eilperin to DNC: Story “Running on A1 Tomorrow … You All Will Be Totally Fine With It”
Finally, another Breitbart Story announced that a tell-all book about the Clintons’ financial hanky-panky, “Clinton Cash,” which ruffled feathers when it was released last year, would be released in a 112-page comic book version.
When it was released in May, The New York Times called “Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich” by Peter Schweizer “the most anticipated and feared book of a presidential cycle.” Here comes part two. Just in time to attract millennial voters, it’s“Clinton Cash: The Graphic Novel” from Regnery Publishing.
Mr. Schweizer has teamed up with comic book writer Chuck Dixon and artist Brett R. Smith to adapt his investigative work into a 112-page expose. His collaborators are DC Comics veterans, producing fare for such characters as Batman, Nightwing and The Punisher. The graphic version will be published Aug. 8 and is now ready for preorder.
“It would be hilarious — if only it weren’t so horrifying,” the publisher notes.
It’s going to be an interesting convention, and presidential race.
It would be fascinating, if it weren’t so horrifying.
